On this page you will find the full history of d.Co and how it came into being, starting from a small worship busking tour all the way to a full-blown Christian collective🙂

The first seed project

It all started in 2018 when we set out on a worship busking tour in Germany. Inspired by the calling to be wake servants aware of their calling & responsibilities (Luke 12), I put together a small team with two friends to set out on this big multi-day adventure. On this 5-day busking tour, we connected with Christian friends in every city that we visited (Berlin, Munich and Cologne) and called them into discipleship & worshipped together in the streets.

God’s presence never felt more real and His guidance in every single aspect of this journey was truly astonishing, starting with a generous donation by JJ e.V. to finance our travel expenses, encouraging conversations with bypassers, deep conversations & fellowship with friends, and many more. But most importantly, we realised that this small project that we initiated with a little bit of courage sparked something much, much bigger in both the people we had met in person and also the people who had not met us physically, but only heard about this project through friends or social media. It encouraged them & challenged them to seriously rethink their understanding of discipleship & being a Christian.

Project Dandelion begins

The spark that God put in our hearts grew into a bigger vision: we wanted to encourage & enable people who would like to start projects for God’s kingdom (just like the busking tour we did). So starting in 2019, I gathered a bigger team and organised worship nights where we would share our vision behind this new organisation called Project Dandelion.

Find here our very first introduction video that was shot on one of the worship nights:

The three pillars & main goals of Project Dandelion were as follows:

  1. Praise God for who He is as He is worthy of all praise.
  2. Encourage Christians who are already living as disciples & building God’s kingdom that they may not become weary.
  3. Help Christians be a source of life wherever they are and multiply disciples, just like dandelion seed.
